Information We Handle
RHEON may store account details, contact messages, project names, flowsheet data, components, simulation settings, saved results, comments, and usage records needed to operate the workspace. Payment information is not collected by RHEON unless a separate payment provider is added later.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide accounts, save and restore flowsheets, run calculations, send verification and support emails, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to user requests. We do not sell user data or intentionally share private workspace data with third parties for advertising.
AI And Processing
When agent-assisted features are used, prompts and relevant flowsheet context may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate responses. Users should not submit confidential, regulated, export-controlled, or safety-critical information unless they have authority to do so and accept that external processing may occur.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and project data, including authenticated sessions and hashed passwords for password-based accounts. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RHEON and KIVOSYSTEMS are not responsible for unauthorized access, data loss, security incidents, or breaches that occur despite reasonable safeguards.
Sharing And Disclosure
Private workspace data is not intentionally shared except as needed to operate the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, protect rights and safety, or support infrastructure and email delivery. Public flowsheets and shared links are visible to anyone with access to them.
Retention And Deletion
Account and workspace data may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, security, legal, and operational needs. If an account is deleted, associated active data is scheduled for removal, but residual copies may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for keeping credentials secure, controlling what they enter into RHEON, verifying all technical outputs independently, and ensuring their use of the service complies with applicable laws, contracts, confidentiality duties, and professional obligations.
